KiCad nightly from official PPA: where is pcbnew.py?

Ok, I’m not familiarized with the Ubuntu official PPA, but it looks like a really big issue: the package doesn’t contain pcbnew.py

Can somebody explain me what’s the deal?

I downloaded:

https://launchpad.net/~kicad/+archive/ubuntu/kicad-dev-nightly/+files/kicad-nightly_202303190833+afe813cae5~170~ubuntu23.04.1_amd64.deb

and

No pcbnew.py

What do you think pcbnew.py is supposed to do?

Export the pcbnew Python API perhaps?

Is needed by most Python plugins …

Hmm the Ubuntu packager will have to answer, it’s in my distro’s package. But then that’s not a nightly.
