Kicad-nightly-9.99.0.1870.g02365bb206-x86_64-lite does not start. Anyone else?

kicad-nightly-9.99.0.1870.g02365bb206-x86_64-lite does not start. No task in task manager (Win11). Version info cannot be given, as it does not start.
Can anyone confirm?

1876 is available . . . if you want I’ll download 1870 and give it a try, I have Win 11 ?

Oh, it wasn’t there in the morning when I looked. So that’s ok. I do not need 1870 specifically.
Thanks for the offer, though.

Scrap that! Unfortunately 1876 does not start either. Last man standing was 1864. At least here in Austria, Europe
Do you have 1876 installed? Can you confirm?

Nope, I don’t have any 9.99 nightlies installed . . . installing it now, will report back in a few mins.

OK, I installed 1876 and received this Error/Dialogue box . . .

other than that it runs and opens projects . . . I didn’t import my settings and I did do a full install with 1GB + download

Ok. Thanks for your effort. I don’t have a full install either and I didn’t get that message.
No big deal. I’ll wait a few nightlies and see where it goes.

I’ve never used the lite packages, I assumed I’d need a full install before using a newer lite package, hence I did a full 9.99 install.

As I do my daily nightly, light is sufficient.
I checked:it throws a win exception 0xc0000374
meaning stack corruption. So that’s severe…

I wonder if there is a dependency that needs something from a more recent full package than the one you originally installed.

I thought the only difference between full and lite is the lack of libraries in the download. Nothing else.
I see where you are going and it is a vaild assumption. But then I uninstalled 9.99, deleted the relevant directories and re-installed: same story.
I’ve filed a bug now. Maybe I make a fool of myself, but that’s ok.

Woops I should fix that (I moved around a whole bunch of code 3 weeks ago that would cause that)
