I would like to install the new Kicad version but also keep the old stable
How could I choose my own installation directory path for the new Kicad Version?

Which OS?
Windows asks you where to install the binaries to, just select a different folder.
Just need to take care of the settings, as there is only one User folder that those can go into…
C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Roaming\kicad
I am using Windows 7
As install software asked me if I wanted to overwrite the old version I
did not go further.
Now I went thru and see I can choose the installation directory
