Kicad library editor does not update after changes made to symbol?

Hi,

I am trying to use Kicad . When I update a symbol, the new synbol is saved with the same exact name. However when I open up the schematic changes are not shown. I delete the rescue.lib and the cache.lib. Now when I open it up, the library shows me that that component does not exists at all. I had to start from adding the components. Why Is this?

Hi @Roaming_Ranger,
in the schematic editor - if i remember correctly - it always tries to use the cached version.
to force a update you can edit the component and use the button ‘Reset to Library Defaults’ in the bottom left corner.
