KiCad - How to import 3party symbol and footprint?

Hey, it’s me, Eagle guy
So I’m trying to find where to put? Or how to import a bunch of 3party KiCad resources - symbol, footprint and 3D model. Please guide me. Thank you

Hi @jurek

You need to create Personal Libraries to store 3rd party or created symbols, footprints and 3D.
See FAQ at the top of this page near your avatar. “Beginners Guide” & “Tips and Tricks”. 3D library creation works the same as Symbol and Footprint Library creation.

Thank you, I will. Right now, I have discovered that I can put a symbol and footprint into the KiCad “SharedSupport”. It works just fine. Is it ok?

Sorry, not familiar with “Shared Support”. I’ve never imported from Altium.
Just know how Kicad works, well, at least some of it.
