with the latest May of 2022…
where it is being worked on by at least one developers.
Given no update in the developers blog, it seems to be a work in progress. Can an update on this effort ?, a draft of the api ?

But concerning your old post, you can do PDF export with kicad-cli.
Yeah looks like they baked in some workarounds. You can do BOM and PDF via command line and it’s pretty easy to make a python or bash to call those.
