Hello, im new here and happy to join the comunity. Im new to KiCAD, used other cad programs before.
I work with a team and we have specific things that we do regarding PCB specifications and we so far use custom board characteristic tables in word and i found a plugin called Board2PDF and with it i can make nice exports and wanted to make one of the exports other than panel drawing be pcb specifications, filing board info isnt the easiest and it doesnt contain all the information we need to display.
I made a table and formated it so it worked as i needed and thought ill just make it as a footprint with default values but found out there are issues, i cant eddit the table contents once placed as a footprint and it also doesnt plot in the pdf for some weird reason. Is there a way to do what i want or how to make custom “Place Board characteristics” ?
Note: im bad at programming and python.
