Kicad and rigid-flex PCB layout. Seeking for advise

Hello,

related feature request at gitlab:

I would like to ask if there is any development of this new feature.
We are designing a rigid-flex PCB and I am still trying to figure out how to do it properly in Kicad 8.0.8.

Does anybody know how we could still do the design while we are waiting for this new feature?
Our board is an high speed mixed signals with 4 layers rigid / 2 layers flex. Tot 6 layers copper and flex regions with coverlay both sides.

The easiest way would be to simply ask your manufacturer how you should prep your data. In most cases and additional layer/Gerber with the information should do the trick.
