KiCad 8.x - No passive DPDT sw in the symbols library

So I’m a beginner. Looking for a simple passive DPDT switch but I can’t find one in the symbols library. Closest thing I found was a symbol called “dpdt_sw_x2” which is basically a spdt switch. Does x2 mean “use 2 of these” ? Weird…

It’s the one you need. x2 means that the two poles are divided into two units, which makes it easier to place them separately on the schematics without having to bring all the wires or labels to a single graphical symbol.

So how do you route stuff to 6 pins when only 3 are showing?

I’m happy to use whatever is KiCad convention for the part. I just don’t know how to connect stuff to pins I can’t see :slight_smile:
