Kicad 8.0.6 macOS Sonoma installation hangs

Installing kicad in macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 using brew hangs forever (more than 40 minutes waiting). No status information is displayed:

> bi kicad

Is this already known or should I open an issue in Issues · KiCad / KiCad Source Code / kicad · GitLab ?

I guess bi means brew install?

Try downloading from the KiCad website rather than using Homebrew. We don’t maintain the Homebrew installation method so if it is broken, you would need to report it to Homebrew rather than to KiCad.

Hi @craftyjon . Thank you for your reply.
I forgot to hit cmd+c and after 1h the installations finally succeeded.
I don’t know why it took so long, but KiCad was installed normally.
