KiCad 8.0.0-rc2 Display problem in the "Edit -> Edit Text and Graphic Properties" window

In the component footprint editor and in the PCB editor, there is a display problem in the “Edit → Edit Text and Graphic Properties” window. The “Layer” line is very narrowed.

P.S. Changing the window size does not solve the problem.

Maybe try a newer version?

Maybe…

However, I noticed that your operating system (Linux) is different from mine (Windows). Perhaps the problem is observed in the Windows version.

@GE, No, changing the window size does not solve the problem.

True; but this is still the “Nightlies” with daily updates to the program, so you need to try the latest version first, because that problem may have been corrected in the last week.

@jmk , Thank you for the clarification. I’ll check this, but only later, since it’s not possible right now. :+1:

On my system yesterdays nightly does not have the narrowed problem, but the test is somewhat offset to the right compared to the ones below.

It’s a real issue because that layer box is more complicated than it looks

This is true. This has been fixed in the newer version.
