WTF? Kicad 7 with promised features such as full font (and font colour) support may have sounded great in theory but in all actuality is nothing but evidence of some mindset where rushed compromises were made just to meet the yearly major version release. Or, in other words, Kicad 7 is a broken travesty with mangled aliasing artifacts, inconsistency, and, yep you guessed right, crap font support. This is common to Windows and Linux. Do I really need to be more specific? Because I cannot believe that these major issues are unknown to the core development team. Way to break an otherwise great tool… well done.

Free, and let me reinforce FREE, open source software it at its’ best when the user community supports it and is willing to help with the effort in some way. @warefairsoda Do you really believe this kind of post spurs the development community somehow to cater to your preferences? They are going to move this up the ladder because of a post like this? The mods are always reluctant to censor.
