KiCad 7.0 "Import Non-KiCad Schematic" menu item not showing up

Hi, I have freshly installed KiCad 7.0 under Win 11 Pro and want to import an Atium schDoc file. Under File - Import I only see the menu item “Footprint Assignments” but not “Non-KiCad schematic” (see attached screenshot). Has anybody an idea about the reason of the problem?
I have meanwhile tried and found that it still works in KiCad 6.08.

You have to open the schematic editor in stand alone mode, not from the ‘project manager’

Great, thanks a lot! (I didn’t expect this as it works in KiCad 6 even when I start the schematic editor from the project manager.)
