KiCAD 6.0.0
I’m designing the footprint of LORLIN rotary switch: 4 ways 3 positions.
I’m drafting the construction lines for the correct positioning of the elements.
I drafted circles radius 3.85mm and one of them is positioned on X axis at 3.85 as well.
But KiCAD thinks that it has radius 0 while it isn’t.
The radius is 3.85mm ON TOP of the 3.85mm positioned on X axis.
Please check the animated GIF here below
Where am I wrong?
I added into the tile and text. It’s the 6.0.0
Sorry, I missed that. Anyways I cannot confirm. Can you attach the zipped project?
Indeed, I added after you asked so, it’s not your fault.
Please here the attachment (it’s not completed. I’m drawing it)
LORLIN_Rotary_Switch_4Ways_3Positions.kicad_mod (3.8 KB)
I’m a little sloppy today. I tested this in pcbnew and I could not confirm.
Now I tested it in the footprint editor: bug confirmed.
It’s only the cirlcle to the right. And any radius. I tested 4 and 5 mm, same error.
circles to the N, W, S work ok.
So this seems to be a bug worth of being filed in the bug tracker.

I can confirm for (6.0.0-rc2-14-ga17a58203b) and for nightly (6.99.0).
reproduces for every case where:
y = 0.0
x > 0
radius == x

Confirmed for 6.0.0 release build as well

My bet would be some 3-4 days. For bug resolution, not for V7
Ok I hope so, since there still 6.0.0 as official release And it’s not without bugs :-

Beer head (also head or collar), is the frothy foam on top of beer which is produced by bubbles of gas, predominantly carbon dioxide, rising to the surface. The elements that produce the head are wort protein, yeast and hop residue. The carbon dioxide that forms the bubbles in the head is produced during fermentation. The carbonation can occur before or after bottling the beer. If the beer continues fermenting in the bottle, then it naturally carbonates and the head is formed upon opening and/
Indeed I would raise my head if I was an admin…
