ups…
I fiund another bug.
The image size is not saved after the file is closed and open again.
Irvin, I’m not using V7 of Kicad, but on all the other previous we need first to take care of the size of your “image” you import in Kicad, for that you need a tool to reduce/resize your snap to be at scale when importing into PCB design. Personally I use Paint-Shop-Pro but you can find free tool in line tot do that …
I use Gimp for compose images.
First I take series of photo and in Gimp I removing distortions such as perspective etc.
Then I adjust the images approximately to the size of the elements in KiCAD
If PCB is not very complicated this accuracy is enough.
I reported it at 17:58u, It was looked at 18:01u, and the issue was closed with a “Fix Comitted” at 18:11u.
So that is a new record of 13 minutes between a bug report and the fix. Which means that it will be in the next version after a compile. If you’re in a hurry, you can compile it yourself, or if you’re lazy wait till tomorrow (or maybe the day after, (I don’t know when the nightly build is started an how long it takes to go through the process)).
Nice day for me
I’m just mastering the build from the source code
