Some of us want our visibility button back on layer text. Can it be re-added? Is there a python script chat can be built to add this capability back in? Some other way? The visibility for the footprint text was in the schematic editor, but if the button can be added to just be hidden from the PCB editor, it would help. Thank you.
I’m confused. The “show” button seems to exactly what you’re looking for?

What exactly do you mean with this? I assumed it was about the text. But if you want to hide the whole footprint, you have to disable the layer. But why would you want to hide a footprint?

edited my original post. it wasn’t clear what I wanted, but I hope it is clearer now. All I want, really, is the same functionality we had before 9.0.2.
