JLCPCB BOM and Pick and Place

Hi,
i am trying to run this script but i am not a programmer and dont know how to do this. Especially this part:

Can somebody maybe help me with a step by step guide on how to run scripts, where exactly to save them and how to navigate them. This is not obvious for me, any help would be greatly appreciated!
