I’m having trouble with component placement and alignment in KiCad 8.0.4. Whenever I try to move components or align them, the grid seems to behave unpredictably, and components don’t snap correctly. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround?
Any tips or settings adjustments would be greatly appreciated!
First you have to be sure you take footprint for its anchor point and not for pad.
What do you mean by “component”? Symbol or footprint? You picked the category Schematic. Are you editing the schematic or the PCB?
I didn’t noticed that we are in Schematic context.

It seems utterly unrelated and I removed the URL. Over the last few weeks there have been quite a lot of spam messages and some 15 or more accounts form first posters got deleted together with the threads they created.
