I’ve been trying to create a differential pair for my USB tracks with a 90-ohm impedance. I calculated the track widths and spacing from the Kicad calculator. My board manf then came back saying that with the stackup they can offer, it needs to be 10.28 mil width with 6.15 mil spacing (0.26112mm width and 0.15621 mm spacing). I added this pair under DRC > Tracks & Vias > Differential pair. However, each time I routed the pair, they would be 0.2mm in width with the default clearance. I assume this is because what is defined under DRC is larger than what the dpair needs? I had to set up a separate netclass rule and then associate that rule with USB for this to work. While this worked, it seemed a bit clunky.
