I am using freecad to generate a electronic 3D object and i would like to import the surface devoted to the PCB directly to kikad.
Is there a way for that ?
OK i found. Here is the process :
From freecad Export the 3D model to DXF by using “Techdraw”
Clic on the object and select export to DXF
From Kicad/PCB editor
Import Graphics/ select the file
That’s all!
FreeCAD also has a KiCad Stepup workbench. With that workbench you can interact with KiCad projects in quite a lot of different ways.
