After importing from other cad and changing symbols, I am often left with text being placed like this:
Is there a feature that cleans it up?
Schematic Editor / Edit / Edit Text & Graphics Properties has the ability to manipulate texts in a lot of different ways.
Schematic Editor / Tools / Update Symbols from Library also has the option to reset text locations to the default locations. You can combine that with first exporting symbols to a custom library and then first set the text locations for your symbols wherever you want them to be.

There is also the Autoplace Fields feature (hotkey O by default, after selecting one or more symbols) which I often use to clean up symbol fields like that.
