Is the Linux (Ubuntu) compilation with problem?

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 with https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/kicad/kicad-dev-nightly/ubuntu/jammy PPA added as Install on Linux | KiCad EDA procedure.

Despite the libraries update almost daily, the KiCad it self appear to be paused be several days. Is someone with the same behavior?

Reinstalling I got the log showing KiCad from 2024-07-08 (10 days ago):

There is zero guarantees on the availability of nightly builds. The development branch has been experiencing some large changes which has resulted in cascading build errors between platforms and not everything has been fixed yet. Which is what happened with the ubuntu 22.04 case

Same here. Ubuntu 20.04 with 8.99 dated 08-07-2024.
I live in Victoria, Australia; so expect updates to take a long time to arrive as I live a long way away.
