Not sure if this is the right place for this. I find when working in PCBNew with a fairly big board, that I have all the un-placed parts in one area, and when doing my preliminary placement I do a lot of control-f (find) and m (move) and then drag the part to the area I am working on. Rather tedious. It seems like it would be nice to not have the focus move from my work area but be able to “fetch” a part and have it appear in the middle of the screen already selected and ready to be rotated, placed etc. So e.g. control- R102 .
Maybe this is already possible, but if so I have missed it in the documentation?
The shorcut is T not control-f
