Hello KiCad fans,
On today fresh 7.0.8 testing (Version: 7.0.8-84-geb7929ccb6), just installed Interactive BOM plugin, and when using the plugin, I get the error upon Generate BOM:
Type error: GetEffectiveTextShape() got an unexpected keyword argument ‘aTriangulate’.
Anyone expected similar issue?

Hi. I get an error when trying to install from the Plugin and Content Manager. I’m also on 7.0.8:
Downloading package url: 'https://github.com/openscopeproject/InteractiveHtmlBom/releases/download/v2.8.0/InteractiveHtmlBom_v2.8.0_pcm.zip'
Extracting package 'org.openscopeproject.InteractiveHtmlBom'.
Error extracting file!
Removing downloaded archive 'org.openscopeproject.InteractiveHtmlBom_v2.8.0.zip'.
Done.
Any ideas please?

Do you see this error only for this plugin? Can you try installing anything else?
You can also try installing from file directly https://github.com/openscopeproject/InteractiveHtmlBom/releases/download/v2.8.0/InteractiveHtmlBom_v2.8.0_pcm.zip
Use “isntall from file…” button in plugin manager.

Hi @qu1ck , nothing happens when I try to install from file. Something flashes up and then disappears.
I’ve since discovered I can’t install any plugins.
I saw one of your comments on another forum post where you talk about permissions. When I click ‘Open Package Directory’ nothing happens. Is there a setting somewhere to specify the installation folder? I do have full rights to my machine - Windows 10.

In Kicad main window Preferences -> Configure Paths...
menu and set KICAD7_3RD_PARTY path to somewhere you can write.
