Installing KiCad Extras on OSX 10.11.5

When I open the .dmg file, the instructions say to drag one of the pieces to the kicad folder, but it doesn’t exist.

What’s the fix?

Yes, I read the readme.

I opened KiCad before attempting to load the extras.

The instructions say to click and drag the folder icons. That’s where it fails.

I did read the readme files.

So I re-opened the main kicad .dmg. When I drag “kicad” to “Application Support” and then look in /Library/Application Support/ there is no “kicad” folder. Nor am I asked for permissions to create one.

After trying it again, I finally got a prompt and /Library/Application Support/kicad was created.

Thanks for your message; I’m not sure why this didn’t work the first time.
