Install multiple kicad versions on Ubuntu

Hello

I’ve been using kicad 6 on Ubuntu for a long time and
I’m planning to upgrade to kicad 8.

Can i have the two versions installed simultaneously on Ubuntu 22.04?

Either by using Flatpak package or by compiling yourself.
