I continue to get errors while installing ver9.02 on a Win11 system:

9.0.2 has not been released yet, so I presume this is a rc1 stepping.
You seem to be trying to put the various user folders that usually on your disk on a OneDrive share
Sorry a typo. I meant 9.0.1 As for where I’m putting the files, all I did was to run the win Kicad installer from github and let it do its’ thing. So why did the installer fail?
That’s not always possible for some Users, including me, we have an IT department at work and all User profile info is on OneDrive, I hate it but I have no say in the matter . . . but I don’t have this kind of issue either.
The subject line is misleading. This isn’t an error while installing KiCad. It probably has been installed fully. You are starting KiCad for the first time and it tries to create user directories (which the installer doesn’t do). Hence
You can try to create the said paths manually, or at least C:\Users\bm\OneDrive\Documents\KiCad first. I don’t know what will happen when you then start KiCad, but you can try.
