Hi guys, it will be nice to have an initial CLI improvement to be able to get Kicad version from CLI (especially when using it for automating processes)
I would like to start having the version like:
kicad [--version | -v ]
And then it could print the version we find in “About > Show Version Info”
What do you think?
KiCad hasn’t been good in command line, there’s much to improve. You could just file an issue.
Yeah, I was trying to avoid saying that out loud. 
Now, your turn, give the thumbs up there. Or even better improve the discussion there with posivive comments.
