I realize my feature request is not too important, but it would be nice to have an option in the settings to make the help dialogs not go away as long as the mouse cursor is hovering on the field.
Those texts are called “tool tips”, and they are a standard operating system feature.
I’m running Linux Mint, and the texts appear about 1.5seconds after my mouse enters the box, and they stay as long as my mouse does not leave the active area. If I go away for a few minutes to get some black coffee then the text is still there when I come back.
I don’t know which operating system you’re using, but it is likely that you can tweak this via a setting in your operating system itself.
Set the time of notifications in the registry

The changes made in the settings are in the registry under:
Press Windows key + R, type regedit and start it
Go to the path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility
Now double-click MessageDuration on the right and change the value to decimal.
A value in seconds can now be entered here.
Default is 5 seconds.
That’s it already.
