Importing designs from other programs

Hello all.

I haven’t even downloaded KiCAD yet. I am currently deciding whether to use Eagle or KiCAD, so please forgive my ignorance. I use Logic Design Inc’s CircuitLogix circuit simulation software. This can export PCB netlists in a variety of formats, including Tango, Protel, OrCAD PCB II and PADS PCB.

My question is whether any of these can be imported into KiCAD and if so in which OS; Windows and/ or MAC OSX?

KiCad can read Eagle or P-Cad 200x board files. I don’t think it can read any other netlist formats. There are 3rd-party tools to convert RINF and EDIF netlists to KiCad.
