Import snapeda symbol to existing library

Most of the time when I use a part in my project I end up downloading a symbol on snapeda or the like, which comes in it’s own library and then I add this new library to the project list.

I end up with a lot of libraries containing only a single symbol in them.

What I think I should have is my own Connector, Regulator, etc library and import downloaded symbols to these category libraries.

Is there a way I can do that? Should I aim at something else?

Hi,
you can make your own library and put any symbol you want.
What I do is download parts, check if it’s correct and if is correct, move to my own library.
This is possible with symbols and footprints.
