Imbedded drawing sheet V9.0.0 reverts to default

From PCB, File - Page Settings, I imbed a drawing sheet from my template folder.
It looks good, I save it, close KiCad.
When I open KiCad again the sheet has reverted to the default drawing sheet even though Page Settings still shows the file that I put in.
Schematics work correctly.

I have replicated what you have found . . . and also figured out a workaround.

When you set the new template enter the full path and filename manually (copy & paste) and it will work.

Will you raise this as a bug on GitLab ?
