I think there is no need to apply selection filter to the 'Highlight net' function

Currently, if I disable an item in the selection filter, I can’t highlight the net of this item.

But I think there is no need to apply the selection filter to ‘Highlight net’ function, because highlight net is just highlight, it’s not the same as selection.

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable when I can’t high light a net due to the item of the net is disabled.

Sounds like a fair request to me. You can create an issue for it in the issue database so that the developers can consider it.
