I recently downloaded the program but when I click on schematic the program closes

Impossible to help without providing at least some basic information.

Can you go to help/about and copy the version information.
What version of Windows / KiCad? Is there any error message?

Do you get the same issue when creating a new schematic?
Is there any information in the Windows event logs?

This looks like the English version installed on Arabic Windows with right to left text.

There are a few reasons why KiCad 6 may close when you try to open the schematic editor:

  1. Corrupted installation: If the installation of KiCad 6 was not completed or if some files were corrupted during the installation process, this could cause the program to crash when trying to open the schematic editor.
  2. Compatibility issues: KiCad 6 may not be compatible with your operating system or hardware configuration. Check if your computer meets the minimum system requirements for KiCad 6.
  3. Outdated graphics driver: An outdated graphics driver can cause compatibility issues with KiCad 6, resulting in the program crashing when trying to open the schematic editor. Try updating your graphics driver to the latest version.
  4. Insufficient memory: If your computer does not have enough memory, KiCad 6 may crash when trying to open the schematic editor.
  5. Damaged project file: If you are trying to open a schematic for a project that was saved in a previous version of KiCad or has become corrupt, the program may crash.

It does, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it would cause some bugs. But that would probably be something KiCad could not help with at all because R-to-L is a feature of the underlying GUI library and has nothing to do with KiCad per se.
