I need to know something like preventive DRC for placement in layout

Hello every one,

I have a question related to preventive DRC, sice Kicad have an preventive DRC for routing for example, (when we routing a trace the trace don’t overlap other one), there is any way to have this but for placement? Because is possible we place a component that is even just too close to other one for example, by self mistake. I am trynig to finding a way to active something like this but with no sucess…

What you’re looking for is courtyard checking during drag/move of a footprint. But no, KiCad doesn’t have it at present.
