I keep getting this error when I try to add a new element. I tried the folder that the error suggests but the problem persists. Please help!

Have you tried what error message tells you to do?

“Use the Manage Symbol Libraries dialog to fix the path (or remove the library).”

To get to that dialog look into preferences menu of main kicad window.
