How you set default via Annular rings

KiCad 8.0.6.
I place via using the via tool on the right and clicking when I need a via.
Placed via has Annular rings: set to “All copper layers”. I would like to set for it default being “Start, end, and connected layers”.
I know that I can modify it later but it would be much better to just have vias as I want them without need to modify them each time I want to see where zone comes between via and where not
Anyone knows where you can set this parameter default value.

You can’t. You could make a request on gitlab to add such a feature.

If not forget I will do it, but not now. 21:30 - the last reasonable time to go home. And this Monday is free here so will be back on Tuesday (good chance that I will forget).

@Piotr did you ?
. . . .

I didn’t forgot, but as at home I have Win7 I don’t have KiCad here (I have only V5). Writing bug report/feature request I need to have KiCad to see if I don’t miss terms and I have to have it to copy version info into report. And, as I have written we have a holiday here (after more than 130 years, with the end of the First World War, Poland regained independence) so I will be at work tomorrow.

If you want to write it I have absolutely nothing against. I suppose writing in English is simpler for you than for me. Just let here know that you did it and I will save some time tommorow :slight_smile:

Then give this one an upvote too:

I’m quite surprised it only got 4 votes in two 1/2 years.

I have read it and I’m not surprised. For me it is not urgent task.
At the beginning of using KiCad I have prepared ‘Empty’ project to use as a start for new projects. Since then I’m trying to keep it ‘up to date’. When I started to design 4 layer PCBs I have also defined ‘Empty4’ project and I’m trying to keep it ‘up to date’.
But I don’t remember using any of these projects as a start point ever.
When I do a next release of some PCB I start from its previous version.
About 2 years ago we decided to build new RFID reader (in different case than others) so revision A of some PCB. But I decided to start that project from one of previous readers - I had most of schematic ready.
