How to show "do not fit" part at schematic

Hi I would like to know how to show those “do not fit” parts at schematic? e.g. how to show the cross off line on those part in red.

Open symbol properties then select “Do not populate”

I don’t use such parts at my schematics (I assume KiCad project as PCB project and not device project). If I were trying to have such symbols I would probably add (as you suggest) red graphic line and all such symbols place on one side of that line even if long wires will be needed to them.
Or I will use several sucj red islands at the schematic.
