Somehow my track width dropdown box has switched from class based widths to table based widths. How can I restore it to show me selection options in my previously set-up class list? Probably something so simple that I can’t see it.

The track widths, and via sizes drop downs depent on your presets in the board setup in Pcbnew.
If they are empty only the default net class settings are available for selection.
You need to add track and via sizes on a project basis. New/different board new settings.
Yes, thanks … Not sure how I got led astray but Its quite straightforward actually. Maybe because the drop-down items can co-exist/override class based presets. I see its a good feature.
