How to move Refdes and Value on a symbol?

Hi, I’m new to Kicad but have used Eagle in the past. After I place a symbol, I want to move its refdes and value out of the way, but I can’t figure out how to do it. On Eagle it was Smash I think. I tried the manual and couldn’t find out how to do it. Any suggestions appreciated.

Right click on the ref/value and select move. Or hover your mouse over the ref/value and press m to move.
