How to make silk screen text show on the step-file?

3D viewer shows silk screen text but Free cad does not show them on Free CAD.

The 3D view and STEP are completely different things. FreeCAD + StepUp workbench can import silkscreen from a KiCad board file.

Interesting. Is it easy to find and install a workbench. I have not my Kicad available just now, so I can’t check.

It’s a FreeCAD workbench which can be installed like other workbenches with the FreeCAD Add-On Manager. It includes its own documentation, and it’s easy to find more help by searching.

I can’t see stepUp work bench in workbench manager.

You can try scrolling to the K from “KiCad”
