I hereby certify that I am not simply asking someone else to design a footprint for me.
This is an auto-generated message that is in place on the “footprints” section of the KiCad.info forum. If I remove it and ask for a footprint to be designed anyway, I understand that I will be subject to forum members telling me to go design my own footprint or referring me to a 3rd party footprint site.
Hello, I want to make a PCB that has a copper plane on both sides with visa connecting them. I need to make a net for connecting them though. Is there a tool for doing that? Thanks.
Addition: “Net inspector” is a tab in the top right side of the gui in pcb editor, look there.
Also note, that unused (unconnected anythere) nets are deleted from pcb file once saved. You must assign self created nets to some pads or vias to be saved. This is by design, but looks like a bug for me personally.
