How to lock / unlock items

Hello!

I get the following problem: when trying to move a simple resisor, Kicad pops up a warning.

Lock

I have been using Kicad for about 2 years, and that’s the first time it happens, so I guess
I pressed the wrong key combination by mistke and locked something. I tried to get information
(E command), and indeed the footprint was locked. Is there a shortcut to unlock?

Help -> List Hotkeys and menus where items are found help you find specific hotkeys. This one happens to be ‘L’.

You can also choose ‘Lock’ sub-menu in the contextual menu when the cursor is placed on the component.
