Is there an way to import pads directly in module editor? If i import circles it draws only a plain circle and points are not imported? I think i am doing something wrong.
I think you found a “missing” feature.
You could look in the bug tracker to find out if someone already requested something similar. If not create your own bug report. Make sure you make a well thought out use case description that highlights what exactly is missing.
By the way someone seems to be working on formula (math expression) input for kicad fields. This would make it a lot easier to create footprints. (Not sure if it will be finished for v5.)
