How to get "sticky" tracks when doing component placement?

High all, New to KiCad.(V7.0.10.)
I find whilst doing PCB component placing, when nudging or repositioning any component, that the tracks stay behind and is immediately detached from the component. Most times then I have to delete the tracks and re-do the routing (to that component) all over again.
How do I get routed tracks to stay attached to the component, if possible?

Have you tried ‘D’ hotkey to drag footprint?

And…

You can add lacking connection and then modify track using D or G hotkeys at track segment/corners.

Thanks Piotr.
Dragging with hotkey “D” is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a million.

If someone answered your question, then mark it as the solution. For a short thread it does not matter very much, for longer threads it helps others who are searching this forum for answers to find the answers quicker.

Make a habit out of this, so more people can find more answers quicker.

Look through hotkey list. May be there are ready solutions to other problems you can have.
