How to fix a problem with text color on MacOS Mojave?

I’m using KiCad 5.0.1 on MacOS Mojave 10.14.2 with dark theme of the OS UI. When I edit some component in Eeschema the dialog looks like this:

This is not a huge problem of course since I can still read the text. However I would like to make it darker. I didn’t manage to find a corresponding setting anywhere in KiCad. Maybe I can change it somehow else, e.g. by editing some text config?

If I’m not terribly wrong this is fixed in 5.0.2. Should be available very soon, if not already.

Thanks for a quick reply. KiCad 5.0.2 is not yet available for download. But I will check as soon as it appears on the web site.

I’m pretty sure that binary that is currently in testing will become 5.0.2 release, you can get it ahead of time.

make sure to get 10_14 variant, that one is for Mojave.

OK, upgrading to 5.0.2 solved the problem. Though the release is still not available on the website, I had to use /testing/.

Thanks everyone!
