To allow sharing of components, I’d like to generate a user symbol library from all the unique components in a design (multi-sheet). Previously I’d just copy the design-cache.lib file and rename that to working.lib.
What is the best (quickest) way to achieve this for V6/7 schematics?
File–>Export–>Symbols To New Library
You also get the choice to update all symbols with links to this new library.
This looks like a new V7 feature. Maybe I’ll have to finally make the move (there’s never a good time to move when you have projects in progress)!
