I’d like to fix the footprint and swap the pin numbers on the schematic, but I’d like to not have to re-draw the layout. Is there any way to simultaneously change the schematic, layout and footprint so that the only thing that changes is 1->3 and 3->1?
I suspect that if you fix your library parts, then update the schematic (so that the pins are reversed) then press F8 it will do what you want. If it doesn’t then you probably can just click on the part and press R twice to rotate it into position (should the zero of the part be at the center of pin 2.
Worse case, your part will be in the wrong place and you just need to M move it into place. The traces will not get ripped or moved.
Yes, this worked.
I mirrored all the connectors in the schematic, then swapped the pads in the footprint editor.
I updated the PCB from the schematic, and the pads were wrong, but then updated the connector footprints from the library in the layout editor, and that fixed everything,
