How to Add Teardrops to T-shaped Traces in KiCAD

I’m currently working on a PCB project in KiCad and I’m trying to enhance the reliability of my traces by adding teardrops to T-shaped intersections.

But I’ve found that teardrop tool seems to only add teardrops to pad. However, I’m having difficulty finding a straightforward way to automatically add teardrops to T-shaped traces in KiCad.

Why do you think that has any influence on reliability?

The main use of teardrops is for thin tracks on highly loaded mechanical connectors, such as for example dual row IDC connectors PC104 (those can need 100+N of insertion force). In such cases the thin copper track may crack at the edge of the pad. Adding them to your SMD resistors is also prety useless, and for your QFP it does not work at all. They also have some use in very high frequency applications (for example 60GHz radar installations. But for the rest, your attempts mostly look like some misconception to me.
