How i put mod or step file to footprint editor in kicad 7.0?

i recently download one zip file for connector ,but it have only step,mod and sym file. i want to upload footprint , i searched in footprint editor(manage footprin lbraries) in my files. but it doesn’t show any footprint file. what i do now?

unzip and add the folder to the project libraries…
